Beginning with the glorious Marvel title card, we see the trailer fade into Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) on what looks like the interior of the strange circular object that's floating above New York City. Take a note of the suit of Peter Parker's, it's the Iron Spider suit created by Stark- not the same one from later in the trailer...
We then see Scarlet Witch alongside Vision, extending a scene from the last trailer. As we see this, Stark claims: "So this is it, it's all been leading to this"
The next shot is our first proper look at the Guardians of the Galaxy in action- of whom receive more equal treatment in this TV Spot than the trailer last year- coming out of a ship with Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) leading the way with Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Mantis (Pom Klementieff) and Drax (Dave Bautista) walking behind.
This next shot is of Stark contextualising his statement, where we see him finish the sentence alongside Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo)
One of ASO's favourite shots from the trailer is this, Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper) and teenage Groot (Vin Diesel) on a small ship in space, notice Groot is being the typical antisocial teenager by just playing on his mobile phone.
Next we have Loki (Tom Hiddleston) smirking up at someone- Thanos perhaps? It's long been rumoured that Loki will attempt to join forces with Thanos (Josh Brolin) in Avengers Infinity War, with the previous trailer suggesting he will offer the Tesseract to him in exchange for a role in the destruction of the Avengers.
Now, this next shot is very intriguing, notice Spidey's suit? It's his original suit from Spiderman: Homecoming (2017). You may be wondering why we pointed this out, well if you look at the shot of him at the beginning of this trailer and throughout Trailer #1, you can see he is in his Iron Spider suit.
If you don't want the risk of being spoiled a possible plot point, scroll past the section in red immediately!
Theories suggest that Tom Hollands Spiderman may try and jump aboard the hovering object in his usual suit however as seen in this trailer, he is struggling to breathe, leading some to suggest that Parker in-fact dies or is at least severely injured at the start of the film due to this action and thus Tony Stark allies with Dr. Strange (seen earlier) in order to go back in time and give Parker the suit to help prevent his death. Another piece of evidence for this theory is when we see Stark holding a young persons hand at the very beginning of the first trailer- could this be Peter Parker's?
We then see Steve Rogers- no longer sporting the colourful Captain America suit- along with Natasha Romanoff as Black Widow (Scarlet Johansson) and Vision walking into Avengers Headquarters- now we don't think this is going to be met with the most joy from Team Iron Man...
Also take note of how Vision no longer has the Mind Stone implanted into his forehead, so this scene must be post infinity stone extraction seen in Trailer #1
We are then shown a quick clip of Thor asking "Ready?" to an unknown individual(s) although based off what we've seen so far, it's likely to be one of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Now we get chance to see more of Black Panther, T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) is here alongside Steve Rogers who is brandishing a new and less patriotic Wakandan shield. Look at the 3 blades on it however, this will be picked up at the very end of the trailer.
Another very interesting snippet is of Iron Man in his new 'Bleeding Edge' armour. What's exciting about the 'Bleeding Edge' armour is that it's created of nano-bots that are inside Stark's body and can create the suit around him at any given point.
We then see Nebula (Karen Gillan) who reprises her role again after being last seen in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 as the anti-hero that is one of the daughters of Thanos himself.
The trailer speeds up and we see a quick shot of Black Widow, Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) who was last seen in Captain America: Civil War being frozen in Wakanda, running towards the enemies and we then see Doctor Strange with Iron Man on the streets of New York looking up at the flying disc in the sky.
We close with one last look at Thanos, who looks a little bit scraped up, notice the 3 scratches, could these be from Cap's new Wakandan shield? Or of similar Wakandan technology, could it be Black Panther's claws? Time will tell...
