First off this week we were treated with a fantastic Captain Marvel trailer. The trailer does look a bit all over the place due to the time jumps between earth and space etc but over all its look great! When she powers up at the end is my favourite moment of the trailer as it looks badass and we cant wait to see this movie. Anymore news related to this movie be sure to check here first as we'll cover it asap.
Next up this week we are treated with some amazing rumours about Loki and Scarlet Witch receiving their own spin-off series on the Disney streaming service. The news was reported by Variety who are saying that Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen are expected to reprise their roles. Other Marvel characters who have also not had a movie are supposedly going to receive shows. Each series will be 6-8 episodes and will have a hefty budget that will rival major studio productions. Marvel studios will produce these shows not Marvel Tv there is a difference. Kevin Feige will over see the project. Leave a comment below on who you'd love to see get their own show.
Finally we arrive at the best news of the week. The long awaited Daredevil season 3 has received a announcement date trailer. The show will air October 19th, which is surprising as Iron Fist has just aired. The trailer has a really dark and gritty tone and teases a confrontation between Murdock and Fisk. The white jacket presumably belongs to Fisk, which is arguably the best villain in the Netflix Marvel shows if not one of the best in the MCU. Daredevil season 3 is being set up to be the best season of any of the shows and I can't wait. Below are a couple of posters that have just been released for the upcoming season, you can even see the Avengers tower in one.
Thank you so much for reading this article about everything Marvel!! We hope you enjoyed it and come back in the future! :)

The Doctor is well and truly in with this brand new trailer for Series 11, released today by the BBC. If you haven't seen it yet then click above to watch it before continuing!
We begin the trailer with some stunning shots that are easily some of the best seen in Doctor Who to date, with Double Negative taking over as VFX editors of the series. The stunning landscape and alien craft looks straight out of a Hollywood sci-fi blockbuster!
We begin with The Doctor (Jodie Whittaker) pointing her brand new sonic-screwdriver at something, what could she be defending? And where is she? There seems to be a lot of triangular buildings in this trailer- you will see what I mean later...
Here we have Jodie wielding a hammer saying "When people need help, I never refuse". What struck me here was she did come across as a little angry, could she be reacting to something one of our new companions said? Hmm.
Unknown cast member question why we are trusting this 'Doctor', lovingly responded with "because she's in charge" and "says US". What a great scene!
"Let's get a shift on"- The Doctor in her lovely Yorkshrie accent!
And they are doing just that! We can see the Doctor, Graham (Bradley Walsh), Ryan (Tosin Cole) and Yaz (Mandip Gill) running away from new characters Angstrom and Epzo- teased in the new synopsis for the series from showrunner Chris Chibnall. At first I thought they could be Judoon however, I believe these are new creatures entirely- and they don't look very happy!
The ever-wonderful Bradley Walsh here, detonating a bomb! But what's that on his face? Looks like the same contraption seen in this promotional image from Doctor Who Magazine, last month:
Speaking of explosion's, here is one! And it's massive! This looks to be Yasmin running away from a fireball in what looks to be a science laboratory of sorts.
Now we will see this corridor once more with Yaz, soon, but we first have Jodie running down the corridor (doing what the Doctor does best!) away from some sort of villainous creature.
Another stunning shot of Jodie wearing her welding goggles, what could she be making? If you've seen the pictures, then you will know! But don't spoil it for others.
Here we have our 2018 TARDIS Team walking down what looks to be an 1950's American street (see American car in background), could this be the long rumoured Rosa Parks episode? Even Chibnall went on to mention 'Rosa' in the list of teasers he gave out recently...
Another great visual shot, looking at a building in ruin. This looks similar to the region where we saw Angstrom and Epzo? This has also been rumoured to be Episode 2 of the new series, called, "The Ghost Monument" written by Chris Chibnall, himself.
As Thirteen, says, she's "just a traveller"
Now I propose a theory. This space-age looking building almost certainly looks like a hospital. And look to the right, its Ryan and Graham, but where's Yasmin? The Doctor doesn't seem happy. And what did this trailer end with? Look below:
Could the Doctor have gotten Yasmin injured somehow? This would be a good way to show how the Doctor can still make mistakes. The Doctor blows someone a kiss, as she walks out this sterile looking room. At first I thought it was the Zero Room (for those that remember that!) but I think I could be correct that on the other side of the camera is Yasmin, perhaps sustaining injuries from an adventure-gone wrong.
We then see a shot of our Doctor running down a corridor, her iconic silhouette. Who or what is she running to/from? Time will tell.
Now we have seen this shot before, but not completely. We now have added VFX with what looks like ribbons of some description billowing around them. Ribbons, you say? Didn't I hear 'Ribbons' mentioned as part of Chibnall's cryptic clues a few days back? Whatever these ribbons are, they look threatening. Who knew art supplies could be so terrifying. Art students do.
We then see this same corridor from before that the Doctor was running down, and it seems Yaz is kicking something down it. Now what could this be?
Other than the 'blowing kiss' shot, from before, this is our last shot. A glorious HD shot of a spaceship coming out of what looks like hyper-speed. Again, the VFX here are out of this world. the realism that is able to be captured is superb.
And that is it for the new trailer! What did you think? Let us know below!
Doctor Who returns 7pm (UK- BBC One) and 2pm (US-BBC America) Sunday 7th October.
Arctic Monkeys 'Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino' Album Review: An Anachronistic Tale of A Sheffield Space Hotel
Written by Ollie C.
'Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino', the sixth studio album of Sheffield born band Arctic Monkeys is a true wonder to behold. I've been thinking about doing this review for some time now and just over 4 months since its release, I feel that I've come to the point where I have consolidated my thoughts fully on this extra-ordinary creation of Alex Turner and Co.
When I first listened to 'Star Treatment' on the Friday morning of 11th May 2018, I was stunned- and not in a good way. "This isn't the Arctic Monkeys I know!" immediately screamed internally and later externally to a group of mates who shared the same viewpoint. However, as Arctic Monkeys themselves have aged and evolved, this album has developed into something that I can only describe as ethereal.
I spent the day (forcing myself) to listen to what I first thought was a tragedy. I had lost the Arctic Monkeys that I had grown to love since my first interaction with them in around 2015. This space-age, technobabble filled, transcendental change really wasn't music to my ears for a good few weeks. However, after resorting back to 'Humbug' and even 'AM', I told myself, there must be something that I am missing here. So I ventured back into the void of synth that was TBHaC once more...
I was stunned- yet again. But for good this time. What was I thinking? This wasn't the Arctic Monkeys I knew but GOD was it the Arctic Monkeys I needed. After spending time listening intricately to the lyric-work, I was dumbfounded by the mastery that had gone into crafting this wonderful album. Taking subtle hints from everything pop culture to politics, mass media to the mind of Alex Tuner himself, this album was the deepest, richest and most pure piece of escapism I had ever heard. I really did feel like I was staying in Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino- and I never wanted to leave.
In an interview with BBC Radio 1, Turner gives one of the most beautiful quotes that completely sums up the album to me. When talking about his inspiration for the albums creation, he talks about the science fiction films that he was watching and books he was reading and mentions the fact that many of these are hyperbolic ways of expressing the idiosyncrasies of our time, or as Turner puts it, these films are "put out there an idea about the world we are living in". I believe that the Arctic Monkeys did just that with TBHaC, sending us off with packed bags for a stay in the hotel as the lyrics aimlessly guide us down the metaphorical "prophetic esplanade".
I could write for light-years about the complexity and utter profundity presented within this masterpiece, but I won't because as Alex sings, himself, "I’ve a feeling that the whole thing may well just end up too clever for its own good, the way some science fiction does." I'll let the music do the talking, words are too humane to elucidate such feelings.
As you can tell, this album is something incredibly special to me. Once an album which I almost immediately wrote-off as the worst thing since the video for Cornerstone. But I'll admit I was wrong, incredibly wrong. And for me, Arctic Monkeys have produced arguably their best, most lavish record to date. This album is the ticket to wherever you want it to be, there are no boundaries. Sit back, relax and enjoy the lunar ride.
Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino is available now on CD, Digital Download and Vinyl.

Finally, the [official] news is out! Doctor Who Series 11 will be hitting out television screens on Sunday 7th October! Yes, Doctor Who is officially returning on a Sunday for the first time since the show's revival. And it will be arriving with 'The Woman Who Fell to Earth". The long rumoured title is now official, as we find out that Doctor Who will be returning in just over a months time. See the announcement clip below:
'Doctor Who' returns to BBC One, BBC America and other TV Outlets on Sunday 7th October 2018 for its global premiere.
It is being reported within the last hour by the showrunner Lauren Hissrich that Henry Cavill has landed the role of Geralt of Rivia in Netflix adaptation of the popular book and video game series.
At the beginning of august Cavill expressed interest in the role during an interview with IGN promoting his latest film Mission Impossible:Fallout. He said "Witcher 3 I just replayed all the way through. Love that game really good game" He was then asked about the role of Geralt and replied "Absolutely. Yeah, that would be an amazing role. The books are amazing. The books are really, really good."
It really great to hear that an actor who has so much love and enthusiasm about the role has been cast. Casting such an A list actor as well is great for the series as it might attract other big names for the other roles.
We will cover more news about the series when news surfaces but for now enjoy a fan edit by the talented Bosslogic. As always thanks for ready and hope you have a great week!!! :)
